Summer 2023 Chaptergram
President's Report
It's hard to believe we're closing out on the month of June as I write this, I hope your summer is off to a great start! With the warmer weather here, we're working to get some in-person events and activities planned for the chapter. Please keep an eye out for details!
We kicked off the spring with the Art of Ethical Negotiations with Michael Koscielny, founder & CEO of Born2Lead. Jeff Rieder with Ward Group, joined us to speak about The Roller Coaster Ride for P&C Insurance. We are hard at work planning upcoming events: Inclusion & Imposter Syndrome, Insuretech and Innovation in Insurance lunch & learn, a give back day with the River Food Pantry, in-person networking, a career panel with Madison West High School, and of course, I-Day! Please keep an eye out on your email and our LinkedIn page for event details.
Our newly refreshed website is up and running! The new website offers enhanced functionality for event management, improved communication tools, and payment processing. We're continuing to learn and improve the site contents, but we welcome suggestions on how we can make the content more meaningful for our chapter. In addition, if you're looking for ways to be more involved with the chapter, we'd love to find a dedicated webmaster to help us take the site to the next level. Please don't hesitate to reach out to any board member for more information.
We want to hear from you! Do you have ideas for speakers, content suggestions, or other member event recommendations? Do you know students or coworkers who may benefit from learning more about CPCU and The Society? Do you want to get more involved? We would love to hear from you! Please follow us on LinkedIn and start a discussion!
Wishing you a wonderful summer!
