Spring 2023 Chaptergram
President's Report
A warm welcome to our 2023 Dairyland CPCU Society members! We’re excited to kick off another great year for our chapter. A special thank you to our 2022 board members for their time and dedication to our chapter, especially our immediate past president, Amelia Fitch.
Our 2023 board is hard at work planning activities and events for 2023. We are excited to kick off the year with Michael Koscielny, founder & CEO of Born2Lead, who will present on The Art of Ethical Negotiations. In April, we’ll be joined by Jeff Rieder with Ward Group, speaking about The Roller Coaster Ride for P&C Insurance. We’re also looking forward to an in-person networking event later in March, stay tuned! We’re always looking for new event ideas and feedback on what kind of content would be most meaningful to you.
Our newly refreshed website is just about done! We are thrilled to be one of the very first chapters selected to update our chapter website. We are working closely with StarChapter, an association management software company that brings a wealth of background and experience in the unique needs for volunteer organizations. The new site will offer a more modern and mobile-friendly design, as well as benefits like event management, communication tools and templates, and training and support. Once completed, the site address will remain the same, but you will see changes to chapter email addresses, such as president, secretary, or [email protected].
We want to hear from you! Do you have ideas for speakers, content suggestions, or other member event recommendations? Do you know students or coworkers who may benefit from learning more about CPCU and The Society? Do you want to get more involved? We would love to hear from you! Please follow us on LinkedIn and start a discussion!
Wishing you a great start to 2023!
